Fall '09!

We're finally getting some beautiful fall weather, and we're loving every minute of it!

Picture Time!

As you can see below, Trinity's starting to scoot around better. She's definitely got the "going backwards" part down, now she's just working on moving forward. Oh, and she LOVES to stand!

New Pics!

Here's some new fall pictures of Trinity!

4 Months!

Well everybody, we're very excited Miss Trinity is now 4 months old! She's made some developmental changes just in the last week or so that are very exciting! Firstly, she's "found" her hands at last - and her feet. She spends a lot of time opening and closing her fists, playing with her feet, grabbing things, shaking toys, or just staring at those appendages. It's adorable! We did have her 4 month well check this week, and as Joe noted she's now 14 pounds, 6 ounces, and she's grown taller too! She's doing just great!
She still enjoys "talking" when she's in the mood, but we're still waiting for her first real belly laugh.
Trinity is spending a lot of time exploring her toys now, and I've woken up on several occasions to find her already awake, just playing in her crib instead of crying. Yay! That means a bit more sleep my way, always a good thing.
This week, we had her on the couch, and my little darling crawled (very low down) about a foot and a half to get to her momma! She was staring and smiling at me the whole time as I coached her, and I was so proud of her! Moments like this really make you feel loved, and I live for these memories.
We've slowed down on the cereal eating, giving it to her only 2-3 times a week, as I don't want her filling up on it instead of milk, but she is doing great with it. She opens her mouth and eats it up as soon as she sees that spoon coming! I can't wait until we start vegetables in a couple months, that will be so exciting! We're going to start her cereal as a pre-bedtime routine now, as she seems to want to be a part of our dinner, so we're all eating at the table together - her included, instead of feeding her separately. She loves it!
Nighttimes are still hit or miss. She's been having nightmares and crying in her sleep a LOT the last couple weeks. Unfortunately, my "alarm clock" is set to her voice so I'm getting up everytime she does this. Oh please let this phase pass quickly!! She doesn't do this for long, and she keeps her eyes closed the whole time. I wish I could jump in that dream and make it better for her! I wonder what they dream about..?
This Saturday, we're getting Trinity baptized at St. Paul in Richardson. We're all very excited about this and just can't wait! We're making a day of it with her Godparents, Barbara and David, and pictures will follow shortly.
I added a couple new pics of the little princess. We've had some cooler weather this week (yay!), and I just had to get a shot of her in her "Aunt Mary exclusive" line of love-made knits. :)
If I think of anything else I'll add it, but I think that's the bulk of it!
Out for now!
