Joe's Baby Shower

Joe's Baby Shower

Misc.

Countdown to D-Day

Wow, only 4 weeks to go! Believe me, I'm really looking forward to it, as I suspect I'll be even MORE ready as the next couple weeks go by. :) I think I've given up hope on a good nights sleep, it's getting harder and harder to keep up with my daily walks b/c I'm tired all the time, and it's getting very hard to bend down or reach things (such as tying my shoes). Very frustrating. Come on little Trinity, a couple weeks early won't hurt! LOL
She doesn't really kick at all anymore, just rolls around in there. And jabs with the heel of her foot. At our latest visit, the doc said she is just over 6 pounds. Hmm...so if I gained 30 so far... I think I won't bother with the math on that one. Ha ha. Actually, I'm in range for my weight gaining, and it's pretty much localized to my belly so I'm not worried.
Belly pics to follow soon, our computer has been down the last couple of weeks and I haven't had a chance to get them posted (I'm on a laptop w/ no pics saved on it). Joe's co-workers also had a wonderful baby shower for him last week, and I'll post some pictures of that. Thank you to everyone! We got all kinds of CUTE baby clothes, diapers, toys, etc, as well as a Target gift card that we spent this weekend. We got plenty of onesies for when she's a bit older, a new, better carseat, and some more safety-proofing gadgets.
Thank you everyone who's been so supportive in the midst of my cranky moods and frustration!! (Not often but not pretty when they do happen) I have a feeling as things progress and little Trinity makes her way into this world we're going to need a lot of that support to keep us sane. Ha ha!
Out for now!

Baby Shower

Hey all! I had my baby shower last week, and again, thanks to everyone who came, and thanks for all the cute baby things! Joe and I have been unpacking all the baby stuff we've gotten so far but have not set up. We've been sterilizing bottles, pacifiers, and baby toys with our sterilizer, we've played around with our bottle warmer, set up the baby swing, the diaper genie, and we've set up an organization system in the closet for onesies, towels, blankets, etc. We also got a separate organizer for all the bath stuff, wipes, and diapers. That would be my OCD coming into play, and "nesting" doesn't make it any easier! Ha ha! Speaking of nesting, I've been cleaning all the cracks and crevices in the house today, and I'm feeling great about that. Don't you love it when you get "all the little things" finished up?
Unfortunately I didn't get a lot of pictures from the baby shower, but I'll post a few that I do have. :) Hopefully more will turn up later, I should have designated a "picture taker". I'll get another tummy shot going here soon, Trinity's CLEARLY hit another growth spurt - I'm feeling pretty stretched out! Enjoy!

Mommy's growing...

I think Trinity has hit a few growth sperts. Mommy is sure showing it!

Ginny had her baby shower last weekend and we got SO MUCH STUFF! Thanks to everyone for everything! We spent the last couple evenings "getting ready", organizing clothes, learning how to use the sanitizer, bottles, and all the other neat little gadgets.

I'll make sure we get photos from the baby shower posted as soon as we can. I'll try to "sneak" a recent photo of Ginny so I can show everyone her progress. She doesn't like her photo taken, but I'll see what I can do!
