What a busy week we've had! Trinity had her 6 month well check on Monday, and she is just shy of 16 pounds now! (Don't believe me check out the rolls on her Michelin legs lol) She's right in the 50th percentile for size, and developmentally she's doing great! Trinity is moving around constantly, and crawls a couple "steps" at a time now, in any given direction. She reaches for her toys, and recognizes the toys by their names we've given them. I love when we tell her "look who I've got - (for example) - Buddy!", and she'll scream in delight then snatch the doll from our hands. She's also very close to laughing now, she's been very excited when we dance together, or when we tickle her bare feet or raspberry her tummy. I really can't wait to hear her finally let go there, but she's so serious! Yea yea, I know, so like me. She is so incredibly curious about things, and she gets bored very quickly with what she has already "discovered".
Thanksgiving was great, we spent it with her Godparents and her little boyfriend Mr. Peyton. He was so excited about having a little playmate, he kept crawling after her and giving her kisses and grabbing her, and she was just happy playing with all his new toys! I swear she was trying to get away from him just so she could play on her own!
Trinity has been doing very well with the veges we've given her so far. She likes carrots - but unfortunately they don't like her at this time. We'll try again later in hopes we don't see them in her diaper one hour after their consumption. She hated peas the first few times we gave them to her, but she'll eat them ok now. We're currently working on squash, and she seems to like that ok with no side effects. A winner! We'll be trying more next week.
Trinity also had her picture taken with Santa today! She did just great! She was so content, smiling in his lap, and when we took her back, she reached for Santa as if she wanted to go back for more! Ha ha!! That's our brave girl!
Finally, she is definitely getting more vocal, to both us, and the cats ha ha! She raspberries, makes high pitched little screams, and "sings" along with music. We're trying to get a "mama" or "dada" outta her, and though we thought we heard a couple "hi's" we're not completely sure whether it was intentional or not so it doesn't count just yet. I can't wait to see what her first word will be!
Well that's all for now, here's some more pictures for you to enjoy!
